ABOUT

I’m a graphic designer and illustrator with a background in both academia and visual communication.

Before moving into design, I studied theater studies and modern German literature and completed a Ph.D. in cultural theory and history while working as a research fellow in Berlin. Those years taught me not only how knowledge is produced, but also how it is communicated, interpreted, and shared.

Today, I bring that perspective to my design practice. Having spent several years in Princeton, NJ, as a graphic designer in higher education, I am now based in Berlin again.

I specialize in translating complex ideas into clear, engaging, and visually compelling forms. My work focuses on editorial illustration, science communication, and knowledge visualization, with a particular interest in infographics.

So thanks for stopping by. Please feel free to say hi, and let’s discuss working together!
